The Columbia University Center for Obesity Surgery at Lawrence Hospital
With special expertise in minimally invasive approaches, the Center offers a full range of obesity surgeries including laparoscopic gastric banding and laparoscopic gastric bypass. We pride ourselves in our comprehensive approach to weight management, which incorporates a multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, and psychologists. Both the center’s obesity surgeon, Dr. Daniel Davis, and its clinical director, Dory Ferraro, are nationally recognized as mentors and educators in the field of obesity surgery.
Once patients have reached their stable weight, we offer them body contouring procedures in collaboration with our plastic surgery colleagues.
